The rain tyre beats six competitors01.07.2010
Uniroyal summer tyre comes top in test in France Hanover, July 2010. Uniroyal's RainExpert tyre has come top in a tyre test run by the French motoring magazine 'Auto Moto'. The editors compared tyre performance on wet roads only - the most hazardous driving situation in the summer. The RainExpert performed particularly well in braking, handling and avoiding aquaplaning during cornering. The editors' conclusion: "The RainExpert lives up to its name." In the test ('Auto Moto', issue 8/10), the experts closely examined a total of seven tyre models in size 205/55 R 16 H, all suitable for compact and medium range cars, and manufactured in Europe, the USA and Asia. In the test the tyres could gain a total of 20 points and the RainExpert was the winner with 17. The nearest competitor trailed with just 14 points and the third scored 13.
